Run Club-The weather is warming up, let's get outside and run! Join Sr Alegria and Sr Alverez on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:45 to 8:15 and start the day with some laps around the track.

 Hello EIS Parents! This time of year is super busy with spring activities, but we still need your help before we all completely wind down for summer!  I know you have been getting many requests from your HRPs these past few weeks and I do apologize for all the emails.  I have compiled a list of volunteer opportunities (will not include classroom specific items) starting this week and looking out through the end of school to help you schedule.  Please take a quick moment to see how you can pitch in.  Volunteering is one BIG way you can help our Public Education budget crisis.  The school staff literally cannot do it without all of us!

Spring Book Fair Now though Friday, April 7th.  Pay particular attention to those volunteer times which are critical.  No previous experience necessary!

OCCT Testing Hall Monitors needed to ensure 3rd - 5th graders are only going to the restroom one student at a time.  This need starts Tuesday, April 4th though April 14th from 9:00 - 11:30 each day.  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4da4af22a4fc1-rock

Life Lab  needs volunteers to stop in and do some weeding.  This can be done during or after school hours.  A few extra minutes of your time is extremely helpful to keep weeds manageable.

EIS is celebrating Earth Day Saturday, April 22 in the Life Lab from 2-5 pm.  If you want to help, have ideas, or want run an educational activity, please contact Laura Golden Shannon at laurashannon@mac.com

Science Enrichment dissection unit is for 3rd - 5th graders is coming early May.  You do not need to be a 3rd - 5th grade parent to help our students get exposure to dissection!  Link to the Sign-Up Genius Here 

Spring Fling is Friday, May 5th from 4-6pm on the EIS Playground.  Set up before the event and tear down will be needed.  Make plans to come early and/or stay late.  Sign up genius to come. 

EIS Library circulation exceeds that of most of our Tulsa Public Libraries.  Help is welcome for checking in and shelving books and many needs coming at the end of the year to make sure all books are checked back in by our students.Afternoon help is greatly needed. Cafeteria -  Please be on the lookout from a request from your HRP if your class is on the schedule to help in the cafeteria now through the end of the year.
