Library Announcements

After school hours are Tuesday thru Friday until 4pm. Students must be accompanied by an adult.Check out books, take Reading Counts tests. Seasonal books are out.

Library Reading Challenge Deadline is Friday, April 21, 3:35 pm. If your child is working on the Sequoyah Reading Challenge to attend the pizza party, or has met that challenge and headed toward the one million word challenge for the fieldtrip to Braums, all completed charts and Reading Count printouts need to be turned in end of Friday, April 21 to the library.

Last Check Out for the year for students and parents will be Friday, April 21. All books will then need to be turned in by Friday, April 28. Have some missing books? Go spring cleaning in your house, cars, relative houses and find those "missing" books. The library needs all books returned by end of April.  Overdue notices will be sent home. Any returned books, or paying for lost books can be taken care by Mrs. Jennings in the library during the week.

  • The TPS Virtual Library Databases
    Two ways to access the virtual library databases for Tulsa Public Schools.
  • E-books
    You have access to E-books from your home computer & mobile devices. 

    To access E-books from your computer: 
    1.  Go to the TPS Destiny Website.
    2.  Click on Eisenhower International School under Elementary Schools.
    3.  You are now in the EIS Library Portal.  On the left column click on FollettShelf.
    4.  For security purposes, If you need to know the Username and  Password please contact the school  librarian. 
    5.  You may now view books or check them out and save them on your computer for viewing offline.

    Saving e-books to a Kindle is not yet available.  You may however access the Follett website from your Kindle browser and view books through a wireless connection.
  • Library Policies
    Each student is allowed to check out 2 books. Grades Kinder thru 2nd grade must have their book bag.  Check out is for one week. 
  • Reading Counts Quiz Search
    Are you away from the school library and need to find out if there is a quiz for a book? The quiz that will help your child achieve the Sequoyah Reading Challenge and maybe a Million Word Reader? Click on this link to scholastic and you can look it up yourself.    Reading Counts Test Look Up

     No you can't take a test from here, but you can look up to see if there is a quiz. 

  • Sequoyah Reading Challenge
    The pizza pie chart is available for download. All students are given one copy in the library, if this copy is lost, you will need to print this yourself. This is an optional reading challenge for grades 3rd, 4th & 5th.  Guidelines are included on this form.
