Fourth grade students from several Tulsa Public Schools elementary schools visited Oxley Nature Center for the H2Oklahoma Make a Splash event hosted by the City of Tulsa, Tulsa County Parks, Oklahoma Conservation Commission, and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.
Students rotated through interactive stations throughout the preserve to learn about different facets of water and conservation. They inspected larvae from species that live in the pond, answered fish trivia, played tag as insects, solved a water dispute in court, discovered how water affects ecosystems, and reflected on their own water usage.
