The following garments/clothing are approved to wear at EIS per Board Policy 2601-R: Student Dress Code.
Permitted garments shall be clean, in good repair, and shall have no holes worn through, slashes or rips.
TOPS:
Colors are white, light blue, royal blue, or navy blue. All tops must be plain (no designs
or logos except for EIS logo).
Polo shirts
- Colors: white, light blue, royal blue, or navy blue - solid colors only
- Long or short sleeve with the Eisenhower International School logo or plain only
- Students are not required to have a EIS logo on their polo. However, if the shirt has a logo, it must be the EIS logo only—no other logos are permitted.
Oxford shirts
- Colors: white, light blue, royal blue, or navy blue - solid colors only
- Long or short sleeve with the Eisenhower International School logo or plain only
- Students are not required to have a EIS logo on their polo. However, if the shirt has a logo, it must be the EIS logo only—no other logos are permitted.
Jackets, Blazers, Vests (zip up or pullover)
- Colors: white, light blue, royal blue, or navy blue - solid colors only

Sweatshirt, Zip up and Pullover Hoodies
- Colors: white, light blue, royal blue, or navy blue - solid colors only
- Eisenhower International School logo or plain only
- Students are not required to have a EIS logo. However, if the shirt has a logo, it must be the EIS logo only—no other logos are permitted.
- Hoods may not be worn over head in school.
EIS PTA Spirit wear tops are acceptable to wear Monday - Friday.
BOTTOMS:
Colors are navy, khaki, or gray. All bottoms must be plain (no designs or logos
except for Eisenhower International School(EIS).
Uniform bottoms should fit the student properly (modest length, not form-fitting, or too loose).
ONLY EIS PTA Spirit wear athletic shorts/joggers are acceptable to wear Monday-Friday.
Pants/Shorts
- Colors: Any shade of khaki, gray, navy blue - solid colors only
- Eisenhower International School logo or plain only
- Students are not required to have a EIS logo. However, if the pant/short has a logo, it must be the EIS logo only—no other logos are permitted.
Skirts/Dresses/Jumpers
- Colors: Any shade of khaki, gray, navy blue - solid colors only
- Eisenhower plaid allowed
- Shorts, skorts, skirts, and jumpers should be of a modest length (fingertip length).
- Leggings or under shorts/cartwheel shorts need to be worn underneath.
Leggings
- Colors: Any shade of khaki, gray, navy blue - solid colors only
- May be worn under skirts, dresses, jumpers but NOT be worn as pants
SHOES:
- Closed toe shoes with backs required, athletic shoes preferred for running, playing, and PE.
- When wearing snow/rain boots to school, students must bring school-appropriate shoes to wear inside. Snow/rain boots will be stored in the student’s locker.
The following footwear are NOT allowed:
- Flip flops
- Boots
- Crocs
- Sandals
- Roller skate shoes
- Light-up shoes
Students who arrive out of uniform will be sent to the nurse’s office for a change of clothes. A
note will be sent home with your child to inform you.
Important Requirements
The following will be considered a uniform infraction unless the administration has notified
students/parents of a special event that will require modification to the traditional policy (Spirit
Week, etc).
Items not acceptable as part of the Eisenhower International School Uniform:
- Fish-net leggings or hosiery
- Fringed hems, cut-offs, holes, rips, tears, or graphics on clothing
- Cut-off shorts, cut-off jean shorts
- No tennis or golf skirts
- NO Sweatpants, athletic joggers, athletic shorts, pajamas, yoga pants, leggings, jeggings, or stretch pants
- Visible brand name clothing labels and logos
- Flip flops, open-toe sandals, Crocs, or slides
- Hats, beanies, bandanas, stocking caps, scarves, or any other head covering, even if they are school colors
