Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
Eisenhower is a cell phone-free zone for drivers – Safety First!
Pre-K & Kinder Families
- Drop-off & pick-up in the Kinder Loop (West Drive)
- Older siblings use the Kinder Loop as well
1st–5th Grade Families
- Drop-off & pick-up in the South Loop
- If there is a younger sibling in Pre-K/K, use the Kinder Loop instead
Walkers & Parent Pick-Up
- Walkers enter through the main entrance
- Parent pick-up at the Parent Zone (back pavilion)
- Please park in the church lot and walk to the Parent Zone
Driveline
- Each family receives a Driveline Number
- Share the number with anyone who may pick up your child
- Display number at pick-up location
Bus Riders
- Students must follow TPS bus safety policies
- Bus changes must be reported to the office by 2:00 PM
- Bus riders must have a signed “My Way Home” form on file
- Riders are NOT allowed to walk or switch buses without a note
Bus Infractions May Include:
- Leaving seat while moving
- Fighting, throwing objects
- Vulgar language or disrespect
- Emergency exit misuse
- Eating or drinking
- Damaging bus property
Bus Discipline Steps:
- First Offense: Warning
- Second Offense: 1–3 day bus suspension
- Third Offense: 3–5 day bus suspension
- Fourth Offense: 10+ day or long-term suspension
Steps may be skipped based on severity.

Important: Suspension from the bus does not excuse absence from school.
Early Release & Check-Out Procedures
- Early check-outs must happen before 2:50 PM
- After 2:50 PM, students must be picked up through normal dismissal procedures
- Adults must show photo ID and be listed on the My Way Home form or in PowerSchool
- Teachers may not release students directly—check-out must go through the office
Frequent early checkouts can affect student learning and may be flagged in attendance records.
Authorized Pick-Ups
- Only individuals listed in PowerSchool or on the My Way Home form may pick up students
- No phone authorizations allowed
- If there is a restraining order, it must be on file and name the child specifically
